This year has been nothing short of incredible. After reviewing my calendar, I realised I worked at 71 weddings in 2025. Each event brought unique moments, beautiful settings, and wonderful people. As I look back, I want to share some highlights, memorable venues, and experiences that made this year special. I’m also excited to look ahead and share what I hope 2026 will bring.

  • Ufton Court: A historic manor with beautiful gardens.

Each venue offered something unique, from grand ballrooms to rustic barns, and every setting inspired different creative approaches to capturing the day.

Memorable Moments and Connections

Beyond the venues, the people I met made this year unforgettable. I had the chance to work alongside many talented suppliers who made each wedding run smoothly. Collaborating with florists, planners, caterers, and musicians added depth to the experience.

Some moments stand out:

  • Letting a groom wear my camera harness and start taking pictures himself. It was fun to see his perspective and enthusiasm.

  • Taking silly selfies with couples and friends, not worrying about looking perfect but just enjoying the moment.

  • Teaching a friend’s daughter how to take photos during a wedding. Sharing my passion and seeing her excitement was rewarding.

These experiences remind me that weddings are about connection, joy, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As I reflect on 2025, I feel grateful for the opportunities and experiences. Looking forward, I want to continue growing, learning, and capturing beautiful stories. Here are a few goals for the coming year:

  • Explore new venues and styles to keep my work fresh and exciting.

  • Continue building strong relationships with couples and fellow suppliers.

  • Share more photography tips and behind-the-scenes moments with my audience.

  • Encourage more couples and friends to get involved in photography during their celebrations.

  • Keep embracing the fun side of weddings, including the silly selfies and candid moments.

Weddings are about celebrating love and life. I’m excited to see what 2026 holds and to be part of more amazing days.
