Bartons Mill: A Guide

The prep
Spend the morning of your wedding in one of their suites. Each offers a large area so there’s more than enough room for the whole team. There are plenty of rooms for your guests to stay, as well as getting ready in.
The ceremony
Burley Manor Barn boasts of a stunning ceremony room, ideal for couples seeking an unforgettable celebration. The room offers an intimate, elegant space, while the larger function room provides a stylish and spacious setting for your reception. Both rooms are filled with natural light and rustic charm, offering a perfect backdrop for your photos. Capture the moment with sweeping views of the New Forest and start your new chapter in a setting as beautiful as your love story.
The confetti Tunnel
Confetti is one of the most photogenic elements you can add to a wedding. The slow-motion shots of colorful bits swirling around you, catching the light, sticking in your hair, or framing your first kiss as a married couple — these are the images that make albums and highlight reels unforgettable. Doing your confetti tunnel along the path outside the barn is perfect for this moment.
The group photos

Of course, a key moment on the wedding day is to get all those family portraits done. There are a few locations they can be done at Burley Manor. Inside & outside, depending on the weather. We have the immediate gardens outside the barn. If it rains, we can use the ceremony room. Then we have the front of the manor for bridal party photos for example.
Couple photos

When it comes to capturing those beautiful intimate photos of our newlyweds. Audley's Wood is fantastic for choices to go. From the wrought iron gates toward the front of the venue, to the secret spot next to the farmers field out the back.
The Barn, Speeches & Party
​
This gorgeous barn is romantic and rustic, the beamed, vaulted ceiling makes our original barn airy and bright in spring and summer, while roaring log fires create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in those colder months. The barn will need turning around for the evening party. So guests have access to the new barn and of course the intimate garden area to rest and mingle until the doors reopen.
